Australian based in Brazil, Cameron incorporates a unique fusion of strategic vision, sustainable innovation and systemic thinking. With a Master in Social Ecology (UNSW Australia) and experience as an expert in designing communications systems and electrical infrastructure, he has improved in understanding complex networks and behaviors based on community and economic development. His career of more than 20 years covers continents, thousands of projects and leaders, from small community groups, companies, municipalities, governments to the UN (United Nations).
As CEO of Crossroads Collective, Cameron focuses on creating systemic change through strategic collaborations and aligned resource management. In addition, with a wealth of experiences, his expertise as a consultant, facilitator and mentor is applied in guiding startups, organizations and communities towards achieving sustainable goals, taking advantage of their background in ESG strategies, circular economy and regenerative practices.
It also prioritizes personal development and alignment with the Internal Development Goals (IDGs), underlining the benefits of aligning personal growth and professional excellence.
Afroindigenous-Brazilian-mother, passionate and active in the areas of communication, sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion – in the leadership of teams / projects or mobilizing resources. He holds a degree in Magisterium (CEFAM-SP), undergraduate in Social Communication from the University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC), a postgraduate degree in Strategic Management and Public Relations from the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP), with specializations in Corporate Communication from George Brown College (Toronto, Canada) and Aberje-Syracuse University (New York, USA), master’s degree in Community Communication initiated at Methodist University.
Valéria worked in communication, marketing, fundraising, institutional relations and socio-environmental management in the B2B, B2C and third sector segments.
She is at the service of governments, communities, companies, NGOs and CSOs as a consultant, mentor, speaker and Integrative Community Therapist. She is co-author of the book O Impacto do Afroentrepreneurship and member of the collectives: Rede Narrativas – For a communication that mobilizes, JP – Black Journalists for Diversity and community of practices Agent MUDA. Advisor of REMAF – Network of Women of Water and Forests and collaborator of BIOMA Ancestral Communication.
